Just reading it vicariously was fun. I'm not sure I trust myself to actually build a plane but I can imagine how rewarding it must feel to do it.

I used to buy kitplane magazines just to see the planes people have built, and put their trust in to fly them around. I think it'd be a rewarding project, but my assembly skills would need to be greatly improved before I undertook such a venture.

Wow, you're right. It does make me want to build a plane... Seriously! That airplane has much better performance than a C172 and for the price of a decent C150. If I'm reading the numbers right, it's about $36 for a 4hr 745 sm trip. Awesome. Hmmmmmm...
