A little more tailwheel practice yesterday

The weather was perfect yesterday and I was able to get out and do a little more tailwheel practice. I did some steep turns, various stalls and slow flight and then a few landings at 2W5. I also took a few more pictures and put them on my flickr gallery.

What a feeling of accomplishment! A good wheel landing is just something that you can really appreciate down deep inside. I know many think that pattern work is simply drilling holes in the sky, but once you've mastered the ability to gently put those two wheels just where want them, you're addicted for life. Nice pics. You may want to try this site to get a 3d representation of your GPS track:

I wanted to thank DDF for the goflying.org link. I uploaded the GPS data from my Garmin Forerunner 305 to it (using gebabbel on Ubuntu 9.04 Linux) and it worked like a champ.
If anyone wants to see my track for yesterday's flight go to:

You can see the track, zoom in/out and you can play it back to see the flight.
